WELLINGTON – A 22-year-old Wellington woman was injured when she fell from a horse Sunday morning, the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office said.
Stephanie Shaw, of the 13100 block of Chadwick Court, was rushed to Delray Medical Center following the 9:30 a.m. accident. She was in critical condition Sunday evening.
The accident occurred at 13064 55th Street South as Shaw was cantering on a warmblood gelding when the animal reared and she lost control and fell, officials said.
The investigation is continuing.
